INTRODUCTION:
Appreciate Judge Gebhard and Jorg Saurer. Jorg interprets for Judge Gebhard. Thanks for invitation, likes Dallas, really organized and hopes tomorrow works out. Very happy to be here and he knows how expensive it is to get a Judge over to the States. Thanks to the tracklayers and trial secretary. Tracking not easy. There were lots of good dogs at tracking, but some big points missed by dogs. Helper try-outs need helpers with experience so he can really see good stuff with dogs. Looking forward to tomorrow. Thanks to Jorg for translation.

REGIONAL EVENTS:
2005 Regional Championship Site: DFW Working Dog Club, Bayou City SchH Club and Lone Star volunteers.
Discussion: DFW is a young club and is actively looking for sites, tracking available and location would be in southern Dallas area. Site would have easy access to hotels; food and they have a good relationship with the Judge. They are in the preliminary stages of looking for a stadium site. Currently training in Lancaster area. Hoping for help from other clubs if needed.
Bayou City already has two stadiums. Location would by the Cypress area,
grass tracking, but also has looked into dirt tracking. The club
has also considered two judges to be able to run two flights at
a time. Also thinks February would be a good time.
Lone Star interested in hosting event and has option of field or High School.
More Discussion: Laurie Tollifson had question about eliminating SchH I and SchH 2’s and should preference be given to SchH 3’s outside region first? Should entries close two weeks prior? Regional decision? Involve all clubs maybe one for t-shirts, one for food etc. Dena McGowan suggested our region should have first go at entries before other regions. Laurie Tollifson stated needs to be discussed because this could be a problem. Julia stated this might be better served during new business.
Vote on 2005 Regional Championship Site: secret ballot. There were four votes for Lone Star, three for DFW and three for Bayou City. Hosting club will be Lone Star.
2005 Regional Conformation Show: Texas Working Dog Club would like to host event. Has extensive experience and lots of assistance. Would like to get back to 100 entries. Have tools and equipped to do it and wants to make it an event. Also happy to accept affiliate club that needs help. No other clubs volunteered. By default 2005 Conformation show will be held by Texas Working Dog Club. All unanimous.
Regional Directors Fund Report: Over the last 20 years received $100 from each club, which was divided between RD and hosting club with new USA rule received only 50.00 from each club this year. Due to change this year Greater Dallas did not get money this year.
Julia spent $1600.00 out of own pocket and this is not including calls, cell phone and only adding one-way ticket.
Half of the money went initially to the Regional Director and half of the money went to USA. Now the $150 will be sent to USA and then $50 only will be distributed back to the Regional throughout the year. Discussion.
